MUSE Medical Artistry was founded by Physician Associate Anne Mailhot, who combined her passions for medicine and art to create an aesthetic practice centered on natural, thoughtful results.
Before entering aesthetics, Anne spent several years practicing in oncology while also building a career as a professional artist, with work featured in galleries, art shows, and international publications. Today, she blends her artistic eye with advanced medical training to provide personalized treatments including Botox, dermal fillers, laser rejuvenation, and skin restoration.

Inspired by her years in oncology, Anne also created a dedicated Restorative Oncology program to help cancer survivors feel confident and supported throughout their healing journey.

Anne has completed advanced training with nationally recognized aesthetic educators, including facial balancing expert Dr. Thuy Doan and a six-month mentorship with Aere Aesthetics. She has also completed multiple cadaver anatomy courses and continues to pursue ongoing education to provide the highest standard of patient care.

She is inspired by the complexity of Hormone Replacement Therapy and passionate about creating a truly personalized treatment plan for each individual she helps. She offers a unique approach to medicine that focuses on collaboration between patient and practitioner, with the goal of empowering patients to take charge of their health and wellbeing. She is not afraid to think outside of the box; challenging the one-size-fits-all application of mainstream medicine, while rooting her skills in continuous education, evidence-based research, safety standards, and experience.
Katie’s background in managing coexisting complex conditions has given her an appreciation of the need to maintain a whole-picture approach when treating her patients. This view, coupled with her knowledge of the intricate role hormones play in coordinating functions in
almost every system in the body, led her to BHRT. She has seen the devastating impact hormone imbalance can have on people of all ages, and how profoundly the correction of those imbalances can improve health and daily life.

Katia specializes in a range of services, including facials, face lift massage, chemical peels, dermaplane and personalized skincare consultations.
She believes that healthy skin is the foundation of beauty, and tailors each treatment to meet the unique needs of her clients. Staying updated with the latest trends and techniques in the industry is of utmost important to her, continually pursuing education to enhance her skills. Katia’s goal is not only to provide exceptional services but also to educate clients on effective skincare routines that promote long-lasting results.
Blane Schilling, MD
Medical Director
Dr. Blane Schilling joins Muse Medical Artistry with extensive experience in hormone optimization and nutraceutical wellness.

Dr. Schilling is a Family Practice physician who graduated from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School as the top graduate entering Family Practice. He went on to complete his residency at the University of Alabama Family Practice Residency Program, where he served as Chief Resident.
​
Early in his career, Dr. Schilling spent 10 years practicing in Alabama as what he describes as a “good old-fashioned country doctor.” During that time, he delivered babies, set broken bones, made house calls, and spent Friday nights on the sidelines caring for football players.
​
He later spent 20 years as a healthcare consultant, traveling across the country to work with hospitals and physicians on improving clinical quality, patient outcomes, and systems of care. His return to direct patient care came through his passion for hormone optimization and nutraceutical solutions — all with the goal of helping patients improve their health, prevent disease, and feel their best.
